Virtual Spring Wreath Workshop
Join local artist and educator Alexis Hardin for an introduction to the art of wreath making.
Wednesday June 3, 2020 -- 6:00-8:00pm -- $35 per student
Join us for our first VIRTUAL wreath making class that will allow you to create your own 18” grapevine wreath using spring themed flowers, embellishments, and picks to create a piece of art you will be proud to display or gift! This class will teach you the art of placement to create an aesthetically pleasing wreath even if you are just beginning!
This will be a VIRTUAL class with a “kit” provided to you via delivery or pick up! Class will be held via an online, live Zoom meeting, so gather your friends virtually, a glass of wine, and then log in to join the fun! Instructions for the Zoom meeting will be emailed and also given in your kit. If you are unable to join the live Zoom meeting, but would still like to make the wreath at a later time, we can email you the link to the recorded Zoom meeting.
ALL experience levels welcome! Your wreath will display your unique style as you have 3 color schemes listed below to choose from.
$35 includes: 1 wreath base, flowers, embellishments, tools, and your live virtual lesson!
About the Artist: A Plymouth native, Alexis has a Bachelor of Arts in English education and a Master of Science in Higher Education Leadership & Student Affairs. Using these degrees, Alexis has experience with teaching all age levels over the years through her employment at various Sheboygan County school districts.
When she is not teaching, her primary passion is making wreaths of all types for all occasions. She currently works with grapevine, foam, and wire based wreath forms to ensure her customers always have options. Her favorite part of the process is creating custom wreaths based on pictures and conversations with her customers. She loves to hunt for the right supplies to replicate the desired wreath and takes pride in knowing her wreaths are featured on houses around the county.
