ABOUT ABOUT

Professional Practices for Artists: An Online Workshop with Frank Juarez

Saturday & Sunday, March 27-28, 2021 from 11:00am to 1:00pm both days.

Sustainability in today’s art market is measured and dependent upon two active practices; an active studio and a promotional plan. As much as we love to create, we need to start thinking about how we can engage in the business side of art in order to sustain our practice. In this 2 day online workshop, participants will be introduced to strategies designed to ease the approach on self-promotion, ways to navigate the digital age, develop your artist package, and understand how to create you very own promotional plan. All workshops come with a workbook (PDF).

$175 per person, ($150 for PAC members)

Class will be held virtually.  Pre-registration is required by March 23, 2021.

Frank Juarez brings nineteen years of art education and arts management experience organizing local and regional art exhibitions, community art events, facilitating presentations, supporting artists through grant programs, and professional development workshops. This has placed him in the forefront of promoting Wisconsin artists, networking, and attracting regional, national, and international artists to collaborate and exhibit in Wisconsin.
